I don’t know if any other students just received the email for how tickets will work this weekend. But fuck Texas Athletics for giving us only one entrance to go in. They are going to start losing attendance numbers because of this. What’s the problem with one entrance? As long as it’s handled well, it ends up with the Cute Stitch And Deadpool Shirt. People there first get in first. It’ll be slower but the gates open earlier. I agree that having to enter through 31 only will suck, but if they’re insisting on sticking with the wristband system it wouldn’t work very well if there were four/five entry points. Unless they said, “enter through 25 for section 19, 27 for section 29, etc”. But even that would still be a logistical pain in the ass.

Arizona picked up the extra “bye” as a result of the Week Zero game with Hawaii. Florida and Miami I believe also have the extra bye. Hawaii likely doesn’t because of the Hawaii rule to give them an extra game. Everyone has two byes this year otherwise due to the early Labor Day. No, we just have an extra this year because of how the dates worked out. A lot of teams do, in fact. I think Arizona has 3 byes if I’m remembering right.
