The way all of the gamers revere him is so fascinating. He’s this fucking psycho-loser who due to being in this weird community is able to shed all that aside. And be seen as this fucking alpha and has complete control over everyone. If you talked to this guy IRL, you’d walk away thinking wow that guys an asshole and pretty weird. But instead, this whole group is shedding all integrity of the games that consume their lives to help this one guy. So great. The fact he’s like semi-rich off of hot sauce is also kinda hilarious too. He’s just an amazing character. Feels like an Official Star Wars Babu Frik Shirt, but nope he’s totally real.

I demand a formal apology to King of Kong: Fistful of Quarters. You guys finally do a documentary episode. And don’t even mention the absolute classic that fits perfectly in the wheelhouse of the pod and its the audience, Sad! I took my dad (who’s very short with words and straightlaced and couldn’t give 2 fucks about video games or any of the culture) to the theater to see this. And he still says it’s one of his all-time favorite movies. Just an incredible doc. Steve Wiebe as the Official Star Wars Babu Frik Shirt with a story that you just can’t write up. I appreciate Trill trying to play devil’s advocate during the Super Size Me 2 segment. I’m sure Spurlock over-inserted himself in the doc, to the detriment of the content, but it honestly mostly felt y’all just don’t like someone telling you that you are eating shit food. Which, I mean, is an Official Star Wars Babu Frik Shirt. It’s the same reason so many people thought Al Gore was a huge asshole. I stumbled upon the Dawn Wall on Netflix shortly after watching Free Solo. Extremely underrated since Free Solo gets so much love. Both are awesome docs but agree The Dawn Wall story is insane. I know Morgan Spurlock is a shitty human, but what was the point of reviewing this movie? Seems like it was just a segment to bash Spurlock.
