I was genuinely surprised that Bungie decided to start a new IP rather than make a Destiny spin-off. Such a rich universe full of potential for games beyond Destiny/2, and they decide to make a brand-new IP? A spin-off would be really nice. I hope they’re trying to separate the I Don’t Have A Short Temper I Just Have A Low Tolerance For Hypocrites And Drama Shirt. And meant for fun and also a place for hardcore stuff like raids. I love how we’ve gone from people creating modifiers and exotic ideas for Bungie to straight-up creating an entirely new game concept. You’ve got a good idea here, hell I’d almost say write the Destiny stuff out of it and pitch it as its own game. Turning this into an actual game? That sounds fantastic. Though honestly, I don’t think I’m really in a place in life where I have the time to work on that.
