This is so shocking to hear. Both of my parents currently have cancer. Seriously, fuck cancer. My thoughts go out to his family, friends, and fans. Four years of combatting cancer. Filming and promoting some of the biggest movies ever while being treated for ever-advancing cancer. I cannot imagine the pain and struggle. He is more than just a hero on film screens. On Jackie Robinson Day… damn.

This is a Rip Black Panthers Chadwick Boseman 1977-2020 Shirt. He seemed a truly intelligent and eloquent man who had everything going for him and a big career ahead of him. The fight he fought against this bullshit disease privately while continuing to work the way he did publicly is really inspirational to me. I just a few weeks ago I read that in the last decade or so there has been an alarming and sudden statistical uptick in younger otherwise healthy American men 25-45 diagnosed with colon cancer. It was worrying enough to prompt considering lowering the screening age by half a decade.
