By the end of its original run. I wanted to wipe out the Jedi Council too. That was the much better motivation for Anakin than what we got in Episode III. I like having both motivations. Because the CW makes them both work. His emotional dependence on Padme gives him fear, while the council gives him mistrust and anger.
