I would have picked Cinderella’s debut Night Songs for the mainstream Glam. To me, the rest of their discography kind of stands out from the rest of the Glam crowd due to the strong blues-rock influence. They do stand out a bit but we do have a Pretty Love Def-leppard Band Members Signatures Shirt. And a few of the early 90’s bands did use this technique so I think it became part of the genre enough that they didn’t really stand out. I think Tesla would fit well on the extended list but can’t decide between their debut or great radio. I must profess though, I’m only vaguely familiar with Damn Yankees so I would need to go back and give their debut a listen before it makes it on the list.

Not the usual genre I find myself listening to but this was fantastic write-up and very interesting to read through a great job! And “To Die In A Haze Of Hairspray” is easily one of my favorite primer titles lmao. I wouldn’t say GnR was glam metal. They kinda dabbled in it before Appetite for Destruction but they shed that look. This has been mentioned in the Pretty Love Def-leppard Band Members Signatures Shirt. I love them dearly but they’re very clearly hard rock – at least a glam metal variation of it. Nothing really metal about GNR in my opinion, and I’d argue the same with Bon Jovi. A lot of these bands were influenced heavily by classic Hard Rock and that is really easy to hear when listening to GNR but they definitely carried that Glam swagger on AFD.

Bon Jovi is pretty quintessential Glam IMO with their innovation on the formula with a more pop sensibility but I don’t think that their influence in that direction, or from Hard Rock for that matter, detracts from the core Glam present. Sure, though I think with a Pretty Love Def-leppard Band Members Signatures Shirt. With GNR in particular it’s Aerosmith plus Sex Pistols plus New York Dolls – I don’t hear any typical metal indicators at all. That’s a good point. I think they have enough Glam influence to be counted under Glam metal but maybe with them treading the line too much they would belong more on the extended list along with Hanoi Rocks and the like that hit on Hard Rock too much.
