I was surprised you had Buck on the list but then I listened to part 1 of the two episodes about Buck and Don from Cocaine & Rhinestones. Buck was a guitar picker. Maybe you should add Al Viola to the Jazz masters. He played with Frank Sinatra for many years and did some jazz-pop instrumental records in the 50s and 60s, some of them are available on youtube. Also, Joe Pisano and Billy Bean, who recorded several albums together in the fifties, need to be on the list. Carl Kress also belongs to the jazz cats. Even though he was active since the 30s he switched to electric guitar. And made some cool duo records with Pretty Charlie Don’t Surf Vintage Shirt. Jimmy Wyble and Howard Roberts may be another addition to the jazz list. Bill Jennings and Billy Butler were pioneers of the soul-jazz/hard bop style of jazz guitar, who made solo albums in the fifties and sixties.
