A couple of years Pretty All I Want For Christmas Is My Hogwarts Letter Shirt back, Spotify started recommending Australia to me. I must have had one high-profile Aussie band on my playlist and then they just ran with it. Peking Duk showed up one week and something about their music made me really like them, even though it’s not my typical type of music. High, Fire, Wasted, Sugar, and more all have a typical rotation in my party and running playlists. They’re not terribly sophisticated or phenomenally made songs, but I think they just remind me of the carefree youthful party days. Almost feels like something from the 90s or even the 80s.
Pretty All I Want For Christmas Is My Hogwarts Letter Shirt, Tank Top, V-neck, Sweatshirt, And Hoodie
Anyway. One of my Pretty All I Want For Christmas Is My Hogwarts Letter Shirts favorite concert videos is Peking Duk doing Seven Nation Army. The way they get the crowd quiet. And seated. Then the baseline hits… legitimately give me chills every time I watch it. Fun fact, Peking is just the old translation of Beijing. The original romanization used to translate Chinese to English was not great. In my native language, the official name is still Pekin. Weirdly enough, our writing system and phonetics are far more suited for approximating Chinese than English, yet we are stuck with very counter-intuitive romanizations. OP spelled Australian the way it’s pronounced.
