Crazy. I’m 27, my Premium I Never Dreamed I’d Grow Up Daughter Of A Freaking Awesome Dad Shirt wife 26, we make 100k together with fewer expenses than my parents and we are struggling. Only my dad works and makes like 40k, my mom just chills at home and they have a dog, cable, car payment, etc all of which I don’t have and they live more comfortably than us. They have a bigger home than me but pay like 1/4 of what we pay. Home prices are outrageous. I’m 26, I work 2 jobs, 60+ hours a week and I can barely afford rent 1450 utilities. The average home prices are 750k. My parent’s home they bought 8 years ago for 200k is now 600k.

I can’t even own a shed if I Premium I Never Dreamed I’d Grow Up Daughter Of A Freaking Awesome Dad Shirts wanted. I can’t save a single dime while paying 1600 for shelter. The only option left is to give up and start stealing. Ick, it sounds like California prices, I had to leave the state since it’s just not affordable. Getting on your feet there as a young adult was rough. I think this is a good thing. Right? At least in South Asia, living with parents is a healthy thing. Parents mostly love to have their kids around with them. The other 48% are happily living in vans down by the river.
