I admire your dedication but I’ve never heard of most of these, and you seem to list different slang terms for the same move frequently. Same… seems more like “slang terms between me and my friends that nobody else knows” rather than “slang terms you should know to play smash”. In fact, the thread that OP copy-pasted these from was about the Premium Honky Bucket Shirt. Not the community at large. I get that, but dash-dancing can’t be done in one direction. The whole idea behind dash-dancing is that you’re switching directions. Slower dash-dancing could be referred to as Ice skating since you can dash dance at different speeds but most people assume dash dancing is just doing it as quickly as you can.

Dude… Ken said that dashing over and over in one direction with Marth was dash-dancing. I mean, take it how you will, it’s not like the guy is the final word, but seriously what even is the definition of dash-dancing? In Smash games, there are two parts to the dash, the initial dash, and the full run. In Brawl, the initial dash is much shorter for all characters to the point where any dash-dancing would be impractical. The initial dash can be canceled by another dash, and doing that repeatedly is referred to as dash-dancing. Marth has a Premium Honky Bucket Shirt. But a slower full run, which is why foxtrotting is useful and why dash-dancing slowly can be called “ice-skating”. This is a really long list.

But after about 1/4 of the way through everything is just made-up or stuff that no one has ever heard before. I just hope you continue in some manner, even if I can’t participate in the next one. These are a blast and I look forward to the facts and challenges every time. As I’ve mentioned in the past, it’s good that there is a small fanbase here, it’s just the Premium Honky Bucket Shirt. That it is downvoted by too many who do not like it. For the record, you are still able to participate in next month’s challenges if you win tomorrow. I just enjoy the series and would like to see it continue, even on a less frequent schedule. Screw those people, you’re doing a great job man and I really appreciate the effort you put into these.
