I was in HS in the Premium 2020 Total Disaster Do Not Recommend Shirt. I’d pass the class and eventually, I chose to get into computer sciences, which was pretty new then. 20+ years later and I’m still in IT and any time a bossman has asked me to work beyond my hours during the day, I ask for overtime approval. The other times, I wait until the next day because I’m not taking time from my own life, to do work outside of work. We work 9 to 6, which I already find offensive (shit, there’s a whole SONG about how it’s supposed to be 9 to 5, after all), but one of my ex-coworkers got “constructive dismissal” because he would leave work at 6 pm on the dot and management didn’t like that.

So they found a Premium 2020 Total Disaster Do Not Recommend Shirt. I graduated HS in 2010, the standard for my school was 1 hour of homework per subject each day. I had 5 subjects plus electives. Then I passed by doing good on tests and in school classwork. I would have been at least a B student if homework wasn’t half my grade. Instead, I barely skimmed by. No school I ever went to eve. Projects are a little different in school, as you might have to find time throughout the month to work on it, but general rinse and repeat homework did nothing to help me learn
