After reading many comments I’ve decided that it’s because America is materialistic prudes. I’m guessing next you’re going to tell people to pull themselves up by their bootstraps. This may be shocking in the united states but in Europe, this is very common some families even have small cottage houses where 2 or more generations of the family live. Yep, I’m 3031 in a few days and live at home. Not what I want but I’d rather live with my mom in a nice house and have cheaper rent than live with strangers in a crappy apartment that’s way too expensive.

I lived on my own Perfect Los Angeles 100 Thieves 2020 Logo Shirts in Japan for a few years and while some say it has a high cost of living I never struggled to finish decent housing that was affordable. The US housing market is just ridiculous. I’m in a similar spot, although I’ve never lived on my own. Sure I could move out from my parents and spend 60% of my income on rent to rent a room in someone’s house instead, or I could continue to live at home for as long as possible and maintain a slightly more comfortable living style it’s an obvious choice to me. That said I know it obviously can’t last forever and honestly the dread of what to do eventually is huge.
