I met someone years ago before I got my Papillon Puppy Metallica Master Of Puppies Shirt. She was a Papillon breeder and she said that the Papillon’s nature is “love the one you’re with”, which indicates to me that they’re cuddly, but I’m sure it depends on the dog, their breeding, their upbringing, etc. I have two long-haired Chihuahuas, who look similar-ish to Papillons (people who aren’t familiar with them often think they are Papillons) who are both fairly cuddly, but one much more than the other. Ah yes, that makes sense, thank you! If you don’t mind me asking, we’re also looking at a long-haired Chihuahua, how do you find them?

I got my long-haired Chihuahua from a Papillon Puppy Metallica Master Of Puppies Shirt. He’s wonderful; not too barky, really smart and funny, and an absolute cuddle bug. If you live in or near California, there are loads and loads of chis available for adoption at any given time. From my experience males don’t generally tend to fight it there are no females around. Obviously, it depends on the individual dogs though. My little male chihuahua seems to have the attitude of “I’m the leader. So I must protect the other doggies” rather than wanting to dominate them.
