Is openly watching people park a Boston thing or an everywhere thing? Because my husband and I love to watch people park, it can be endlessly entertaining. Ages ago I lived on Park Drive and I can’t remember if it was before a snow emergency or what. But we sat in the living room and watched a Jag get towed. The tow truck had to drag it out of the Official Wicked Smaht Classic Shirt. And now in retrospect maybe it was being repossessed. Yeah, I’m from the south shore and just moved to Medford two years ago for work. The whole family from Dorchester. I cannot get away from the MEDFAHH comments. One of my best friends in college was born and raised in Swampscott. Neither he nor his Official Wicked Smaht Classic Shirt. I guess we have different anecdotes then. My husband grew up there. We go there once a month. About half the people we know who live there say Swimsuit. Nobody pronounces the p. It’s something to do with a local temple helping Russian jews immigrate in the early 90s after the soviet union collapsed. It varies quite a bit between town lifers. But nobody says it like Rachel Dratch. Not even recent NJ transplants which there seems to be plenty of.
