My group laughed through the whole thing pretty much it was amazing. It’s a jump scare film, but there’s a couple of scenes in it that are so ridiculous they had 15 years old me dying in the theatre. It was my first summer home from university and our group was crushing beers at a homies house. His parents came home so we jettisoned and decided on the movies.

We were all fans of the show and Official Some Girls Are Malibu Barbie I’m Wednesday Addams Woderfull Shirt were multiple times where we all laughed, especially the scene with Bismuth. Lapis and Peridot were talking about how long it took each of them to stop trying to kill Steven. I remember I was in high school and it was the first funny pot-related movie since How High, so obviously you had to get ripped af prior. Never have I laughed so hard in a movie theatre showing. Went in not knowing anything about it, laughed so hard. The whole cinema applauded at the end, I think everyone was happy to see a genuinely great movie that wasn’t a reboot.
