Dundee Utd was also a great team back then, only Roma being a bunch of cheating bribing cunts stopped them playing Liverpool in the European Cup final. I think Aberdeen got to the European Cup semi in the ’80s at some point too. Yeah, not gonna lie it’s difficult reconciling the great Official New York Yankees And Green Bay Packers Shirt. Even just stuff like them having cracking kits with those cheating cunts fucked us out of a European final. That I wasn’t even born for. With that and the corruption scandal that followed a couple of decades later. It’s sensible to view every trophy won by the major Italian clubs with suspicion, to be honest. So Anderlecht was found guilty in court as well. Paying off the ref in a UEFA cup final against Nottingham forest.

I know nowadays we speak of the disparity between the finances available between Celtic and Rangers against everyone else. Do you know how different it was back then between Aberdeen, Celtic, and Rangers? From memory, I’m sure Celtic was close to going tits up financially in the 80s/90s wasn’t they? Aberdeen has never been a rich club. Hell, it’s taken 116 years for us to even get an Official New York Yankees And Green Bay Packers Shirt! A telling factoid is that Billy McNeill left Celtic in 1983 because he was getting less money than the managers of Rangers, Aberdeen, Dundee Utd, and St Fucking Mirren. Yeah, not to take anything away from his achievements up there but the gap is MUCH larger now than it was.

Well, I don’t think he will stay for about 30 years as Ferguson did. Because no one would in the modern era. But I hope he became our modern era Shankly who setup our next manager for dominance. It is questionable how easy it is for somebody to do it. One of the things that led to Ferguson’s prolonged success, ironically, is a humility about his Official New York Yankees And Green Bay Packers Shirt. About the time Ferguson decided to switch his entire approach to management in the early 2000s is about the time he starts to leave Wenger in the dust. I’ve only ever seen Ferguson actually pull this off. Most managers are set in their ways and when they are out of date they stay out of date. It is the difference between being a great manager.
