I got several compression tee shirts because I fell and cracked 2 ribs and a friend of mine suggested getting a few to give me some extra support while healing. Out of the several brands I purchased the CompressionZ shirt works the best, its a very snug fitting garment designed to stay in place and gives my side the extra support to make my ribs feel better.

These are great compression shirts. Hence the word “Compression”, meaning it is tight and if you are not used to something like this then it will feel different at first, but you get used to it. I have tried others UA, Tesla, etc. Those are great as well, but these actually have the elastic band at the bottom of the shirt that does prevent any riding up. I have multiple herniated/bulging disc with arthritis, DDD and spinal stenosis and those conditions cause me to have poor posture at times. These shirts really help with that and keep my posture as it should be. (If you are a sloucher, then it is amazing to feel the difference even without back issues that may cause it) I recommend these, even though they aren’t the cheapest shirts to purchase.

I own a number of t-shirts advertised as compression shirts from Under Armour, Champion and Russell, but this is the only one I would say provides real compression. The others are nice (Russell being my favorite for length and material), but they are better described as snug-fitting t-shirts. They do help wick away moisture, but they don’t provide real compression. This shirt from CompressionZ is the real deal. You can feel the compression. It is not uncomfortable, and I have worn it all day under casual and dress shirts, but you definitely know you are wearing it, especially around the biceps. Length is nice and long. Rubber hem around the bottom is nice but not sure it is needed. I’m 5’11”, 180 – 185 lbs. and a 43-44 R in jackets and a Large fits perfectly. First time it was a bit of a challenge to get it on and off, but that’s because it does fit so snugly. No complaints and will get more, as I gradually replace my other non-compression compression shirts. Wish I had found this brand sooner.

Very comfortable for a compression shirt. It feels smaller than expected and the sleeves over my bicep are tighter than other shirts. The medium was sized up to 41.5′ and I measured 41. I should have gotten the large, my bad. I will buy one size larger next time. There is plenty of flexibility in the sleeve and the mesh side is a nice touch. I think that these shirts fit better than the UA shirts that I have. These offer much less restriction in the armpit and sleeve. It’s hard to explain but there’s more freedom to move your arms. I also like the contoured lower and grippyness to keep it tucked in. I wear these under a police uniform and body armor and have been very happy on hot, summer days. I will recommend this shirt to everyone that I know in the job, they are awesome.

Forget 2 x u and skin..after recieveing my order today, examining the quality, material and stitching and testing it with a hard workout…..these are the best compression shirts and just as good if not better than all the biggest names In compression. The vents and rubber inside bottoms are features u won’t find on one’s 4 times the price. The material is the same as with bigger names so just cause their cheaper doesn’t mean less quality of materials. I am absolutely BLOWN away by the quality, feel and price. Its almost too good to be true they are truly that nice!!!. The feel and compression is very similar to 2 x u but at a quarter of the price. If you are on the cusp of sizing then get the larger one.
I feel upset cause what I spent on 1 big name compression shirt I could have gotten 4 or 5 of compression z’ for the same price and regardless of price I would still prefer the compression z. Buy it. Period.

I have never written a product review before, nor did I ever think I would post one about a compression shirt. But this is the best compression shirt out there on the block. I have been going through a few months of rehab with a labrum SLAP tear on my shooting shoulder and have recently been able to get back out on the court to play hoops. I purchased compression shirts from Nike, Under Armour, andCompressionZ. I took a shot trying this shirt out based on the reviews I read here. By far, the best product of the three I bought. The rubber-like material along the bottom of the shirt really helps to keep the shirt from running up your back and stomach like the other products. (I’m 6’1″ and lean at 175lbs. The other competitor shirts were too short on my torso and it bugged me having to pull the shirt down all the time playing. I purchased the CompressionZ shirt in size L and it fit me like a glove. I think a medium would have strangled my body if I bought it at that size.) and the material is a little stronger than the UA heat gear. The vents are nice too. Definitely liked the extra support of this shirt versus the others. Like this product so much, I came back to purchase another one in a different color. Great product! Would love to see this company make “one armed” versions of this shirt for basketball players with shoulder injuries looking for the extra support without the compression on the the other shoulder.

La camiseta de compresion es perfecta. Por sacarle alguna cosilla, yo la fabricaria un poco mas corta ya que puenso que es demasiafo larga (compre una talla M)

I bought this men’s short-sleeve compression top (although I am a woman) because men’s garments run longer (overall length as well as the length of the “short” sleeves) than women’s garments and that’s important when one is working-out in compression-ware.
It is a crew-neck vs. typical women’s scoop-neck which looks and feels better.
This top stays-put. Having a compression top that rides-up is uncomfortable and unsightly. The sleeves provide compression support almost to the elbow and the entire garment is smooth and well-constructed. I’ve tried other compression-ware and some are very flimsy / unsupportive and reveal indentations and bulges from bra straps, underwear, etc. This top smooths + supports and has 2-way stretch.
Very good price and quality.

So even though I returned this shirt, I am still going to give it 5 stars!! (I returned it because I ordered the wrong size for my husband)… This shirt is such a great quality. Because he normally uses the cheaper compression shirts from Walmart, I thought the sizing would be the same. But the other shirts are a much thinner material, so he can go slightly smaller than with these shirts. The CompressionZ shirts are a thicker fabric, and even have a rubber band around the bottom (inside the shirt) to keep the shirt from moving around. It definitely seems well-made, I will purchase the right size in the future :)

My husband loves this compression t shirt. We live in Florida and this really helps with sweat marks on his dress shirts. It also holds him in so that he appears thinner. One possible con but won’t effect my rating is that wearing dark colors over it when it’s hot may permanently stain this undershirt. The shirt is an undershirt so it really doesnt matter. We are very happy with this product and will be buying another.

Go by your chest size for size to buy. Highly elastic, but real, strong compression, unlike some other ‘compression’ shirts out there. If you want really tight compression, buy a size down if you’re a runner or cyclist, but not if your upper arms are big. Beware, it will be hard to peel off when you’re done exercising. The gray version is not in the least translucent, the white is only very slightly see-through (but enough that it looks better when one shaves…). The white is cooler outdoors in the full sun.

If you were looking for a thicker, stiffer compression shirt like I was, then this is it. Overall, the construction is great. Walmart used to sell Starter compression shirts and these are similar. What killed it for me was: 1. the band at the bottom is pretty tight and super annoying. If u tuck it under your pants it pulls on your undies and over your pants it just feels super annoying because it has a super grippy rubber lining along that bottom line. 2. the armpit holes are wayyy too small! It will be up in your pits and feels super uncomfy.

First off i personally DO NOT recommend getting a size up like other reviewers said, just get what you usually wear.
I am 180lb 5’5 athletic build (powerlifter), not lean or fat.
Initially i purchased two large because of reviews telling me to size up then bought a medium to try for my third shirt and it felt what compression should (at least to me!). How some reviewers who weighs less than me saying a large is too tight for them is beyond me.

Very nice shirt that delivers a lot of compression, feels very smooth and comfortable on the inside and was not difficult to get on and off. The length is great and it will either stay down with the rubber on the hem or crunch up neatly at my waist.
I’m 6′ and 168 with a 40″ chest. I ordered the medium per the size chart and the fit is spot on.

Really good quality shirt, good material.
The rubber keeper inside the hem on the bottom of the shirt is fantastic for stopping the shirt riding up while exercising.
Only complaint is that the sleeves are very tight fitting and cut in on your skin after awhile.
David –
Good quality material, sizing guide is spot on however if you work out and have large biceps the hem on the sleeves are a bit tight.
Really like the rubber keeper band on the hem at the bottom of the shirt that stops it riding up.

I ordered this one size smaller thinking it’d stretch to fit and it did. Squeezing into it is like a wrestling match with this shirt but it’s advertised as a “compression” shirt and it certainly does compress. I bought it because hormone treatments caused my cup size to increase (Good endocrinologist) ???? Once I do get it on its remarkably comortable. The body of the shirt is long enough for my 6′ frame. I’ve lost quite a bit of weight and have “Reverse stretch marks” (loose skin) and this shirt smooths and tames my former flabby toso. The elastic band on the bottom holds the shirt securely and the fabric wicks very well keeping me dry. I’d recommend this in a heartbeat. I’m very satisfied with mine.

Not only is this good for workouts but if you have had back surgery this will sooth the pain and compress the muscles in the back. To many complaints about the fit. In my opinion go by the size menu on the site and expect the shirt to be a little hard to put on and off. But that”s what compression is suppose to do

I LOVE THESE compression shirts. The tanks are my favorites. I use it for both: 1) my lymphedema and 2)binding as a trans-masculine person. The shirts are comfortable AND easy to take off after sweating ! The fabric is just right especially for summer compression. They have a good length to them, so they will compress hips too. Great value. Great product. Arrives VERY QUICKLY. Very pleased with shipping, prices, and products.

When my compression shirt arrived, I thought it was too small for me and I got in touch with the company. They were great and suggested that I measure my chest size (or return it), whichever I was most comfortable with. After measuring my chest, I realized that I had received the right size. So, I proceeded to push my arms through the sleeves, and the shirt then went on easily. It is tight, but it is a compression shirt, and you will get used to it. I have worn mine all day while working outside and I feel great. I am over 70, but still work out (carefully) and I love this shirt.

This shirt was awesome….. but if you have decent sized arms they won’t fit. I have 15 inch arms and these are way small for that. They won’t stretch to fit either. If your arms are smaller, get it!

I am very happy with my purchase…this is actually a compression shirt. This is not your average moisture wicking, slightly tight under shirt, like so many other brands out there. This shirt is actually hard to put on and can be uncomfortable if you’re wearing it for a long period of time. Fortunately, that’s exactly what I wanted and I will be ordering more. Thanks!

This is an exceptionally well made and carefully designed shirt… This material provides a very strong and consistent compression and the attention to detail, for example the bottom hem of the shirt is a thick semi rigid band which guarantees the shirt stays tucked and doesn’t roll or ride up. I am very impressed. I did end up having to give it to my boyfriend as it does run a bit small, especially in length, as I have an unusually long torso I discovered that I should have ordered a size larger. However since Amazon has chosen to charge for return shipping I decided rather than pay 25% of the cost to get a larger size I would simply give it to my partner. I’m a little disappointed, but I’m likely going to reorder an XL right now. TBH I cannot recall the last time I saw such a well made compression top, especially Nat this price level. Thanks

I pulled a muscle in my shoulder and it was impractical for me to completely immobilize it. I did my best to limit movement but found it impossible to prevent disturbing the initial injury. The long story short is that the compression provided by this shirt was phenomenal! For my situation it provided the perfect amount of restriction needed to help the muscles and ligaments involved in the shoulder joint to heal.
The compression is “severe” but not uncomfortable. I wear it several hours per day without any negative consequences. I am 6’2 and 210 lbs. The large was a great fit for me. Note that it’s a really tight fit! That’s what made it a perfect fit for me and my situation.

This is a well made garment and should serve well but the bicep opening is limited by the seam on the end of the sleeve (to keep from fraying, as you would want) and that seam maxes out at about 13 – 14 inches on the XXL shirt I’ve purchased. Since the thread used on the seam does not stretch, once you expand the seam to the listed size you have a tight constriction if you have arms bigger than this size.

I do not write that many reviews. That said, I have owned many brands of compression short sleeve shirts. CompressionZ is by far superior to any of them. The pictures online do not do them justice. The first thing I noticed when unpacking was the quality construction and stitching. The under arm fabric is light and breathable. As soon as you put it on you can feel the difference. The elastic band at the bottom of the shirt grips well. The shirt at no time rode up on me during a 30 minute HIIT workout. In addition to nicely highlighting body contours, I felt a noticeable difference in time to upper body fatigue during the workout. I have a medium build, not huge biceps/chest. For that build, I recommend purchasing the same size as your dinner jacket. If you want less compression, then go a size larger. I wouldn’t recommend going a size smaller for ‘more’ compression. You won’t need it. Worth the extra money for sure. I have already purchased one additional and will continue to replace my older shirts with these. Nice job CompressionZ!

i have shoulder problems, thanks to skateboarding in my youth, that’s kept me off the basketball court for years. Last year, I decided to play more ball again and this was (luckily) my first buy. I’m not going to claim that these compression shirts were the miracle cure for my shoulders, but they certainly helped. More than anything, the slight resistance that I feel in my shoulders while wearing these keeps me conscious not to overextend or tweak my shoulders. I don’t notice any improved recovery even after upper body workouts but who knows, it might be helping slightly in that regard. The stretchy fabric is sturdy and tight, at first feeling quite warm especially during cardio but now that I’ve grown used to the feel, I actually prefer it.
My third compressionZ shirt is on it’s way to me and I couldn’t recommend it more.

This is my very first compression garment. I am rehabilitating a shoulder injury and felt that I needed some support until my muscles are strong enough to stabilize it. I’m 5’7″, 147lbs, and my chest measures just shy of 37″. I opted for the small size And it is a snug fit, but once on it is comfortable. When I woke up this morning, my shoulder was aching which is typical. I put this shirt on and after 6 hours it still feels comfortable. And I noticed right away that my shoulder felt better and didn’t ache so much. So I have to say that the shirt is holding the shoulder joint together and giving it support. I’ll try this for my workout in the gym tomorrow and see how my shoulder feels then.
