When I was in 2nd grade there was a group of middle school girls who seemed to loved me because I was cute AF. During breaks, they always brought me to their classroom and we stood together till the classes started again. Now almost 16 years have passed, I have no idea what happened to them. I’ll actually challenge that a bit. Compare Baby Yoda to the Official Baby Yoda Adorable Kawii Star Wars Shirt in The Last Jedi. Porgs were EVERYWHERE Christmas 2017. You couldn’t turn around in a store without seeing pork merchandise. They very aggressively marketed those things for the all-important Christmas season. Baby Yoda, on the other hand, kept under wraps. People were actually upset at the lack of merch, because what a great gift for the SW fan in your life. They’ve scrambled and seem to have a couple of things coming out, but they opted to keep it under wraps despite missing those sweet, sweet Christmas sales. I have no doubt Baby Yoda was deliberately designed.
