Not in a bag but will wave you past if everything is bagged. They ask me to stop and I say no thank you and keep walking. I had a cart of bagged groceries and a pail of kitty litter. I was flabbergasted when he stopped me. We made eye contact while I was cashing out. He saw me in line. I then couldn’t find my receipt and he told me I needed to have it reprinted.

The guy checking even said that was why he had to check. Not the possible hundred dollars worth of jewelry, since that was in a bag. Just the cheap garbage can. Yeah, and they have been at it for a long time! 20 years ago, when I was a teenager, my buddy and I were caught shoplifting at Target. Their loss prevention room was “state of the art” and the employees were even joking about how great Target’s loss prevention is.
