Pets Live was, in a Nice I’m Not Anti Social I’m Anti Stupid Cat Drink Coffee Shirt. It was a game about clicking buttons to make numbers go up, and then waiting to click the button again. Or, viewed from the other perspective, the RP community thrived and flourished in spite of the game’s limitations. This place wasn’t really meant for us, yet nonetheless, we found each other and told stories. In the grand scheme of things, those stories weren’t very good, and aren’t important to the world. But they were — and still are — important to the people who witnessed them. They were for me, at least. Those roleplays are what kept me going through shitty times.
