IMO this show is like the new Bonanza in modern-day. A huge ranch. Costner will do anything to protect it. A lot more action and great storytelling. I watched the first episode without knowing anything about the show, and I found it to be boring & insulting. My second favorite show after The Wire! Deadwood is fantastic. Such an amazing dialog. I think Swearengen is my favorite Nice Dutton Yellowstone Ranch Shirt. For a more recent western, Godless is amazing. Super dark, great characters, fantastic storytelling, yet still has some of that traditional western cheese that comes with tall tails. In Deadwood past the cuss words. I couldn’t understand what the meant when the spoke. That was something that amazed me.

For some reason, so many shows have come across slow to me lately. This one really blew up quick, and I loved it! Taylor is so great at making a Nice Dutton Yellowstone Ranch Shirt. I love it. This was amazing to me. I have been watching so many slow-moving shows that the quickness to this was awesome. To have me love/hate over 4 characters in just one episode, that is pretty damn hard. They really pulled me in. I liked it. A nice slow burn that weirdly could’ve used more exposition? I like Kayce or however, you spell his name and his son. Good characters. Interesting central conflict. I get the negative press since it’s very non-accessible cuz it doesn’t hold your hand but I like it for that reason.

I’m getting some True Detective season 2 vibes, for better or for worse. I think this show will take more time than that though. Some of it strained credulity a bit too much for me. But I generally liked it at least enough to watch the next episode or two. But the other dudes with the Nice Dutton Yellowstone Ranch Shirt… The way they presented it seemed like fuck ups and criminals on the ranch get branded and then come work for Dutton. No, it appears to be like some sort of fraternity, if you’re branded, you’re part of the clan and you get protection from the clan. I think they’re leaving that up to mystery for now.
