They only share what they choose to share with me in writing. I would absolutely never ask a student to share something personal in front of others… Or at all, really. Unless they wanted to. would absolutely never have the kids do this aloud or in front of others. I give them a 21 questions sheet that has lots of options. And it only counts toward an extra credit point. I don’t tell them that though, it’s literally the first assignment every year. The kids get to write privately and only what they’re comfortable sharing with me and me only.
