I used to wear the I Am So Grumpy I Am Not Even Talking To Myself Deer Shirt. And often would pick up 50 to 100 pounds of rubble, tools, etc. at a time without any problem. I always was careful to pick things up using proper posture to prevent injury and hurt my back only once. The one time I threw out my back? Yeah, I bent over and picked up a nail of the ground. I’m a martial artist and former gymnast, so I put my body through some dumb stressors. The biggest injury I had was when I was leaning over a sink to wash my hands and I coughed.
