Dang, so this Funny Never Trust The Living Vintage Shirt is basically stating that Gyatso (autocorrect turned it to Gustavo lol) was too immature. To let Aang go to some cool ass dude. Aang was going to get out and travel anyway Idk why Gyatso was. So withholding he had to of known something like that was going to happen. Like, how would Aang go to Pathik been a bad thing? He would’ve learned from him and went back to visit Gyatso just like Korra did Tanzen. Aang really himself( died at 60 something) and the world when he threw a tantrum then stormed off.

I’ve always wondered, where are the Funny Never Trust The Living Vintage Shirt? Were they wiped out along with the air nomads? He looks and sounds like he would have come from somewhere outside the air nation (likely an analogous place to the Indian subcontinent) but we never see or hear of anybody else in the Avatar universe that fits this description. Korra was older than during her show tenure. Aang mastered the avatar state very quickly, and with Korra being older (at times more mature), it’s believable that with the white lotus surrounding her all throughout childhood she mastered the avatar state before we meet her.
