This thing seems to grow in scope a Funny Black Cat Fluff You You Fluffin’ Fluff Vintage Retro Shirt. It’s gone from a silly one-off to at least 3 parts with a probable 4th. I tried to break from all 1st-person using the human’s perspective. Which cuts down on my ability to try and inject humor. But should make for a more complete story. I didn’t think I was up to portraying any of the aliens via 1st-person, I hope my attempts at narrating for the aliens weren’t too clumsy. Anyway, this was a ton of fun to write, so I hope you have at least a little fun reading it.

I’m glad you appreciate it, I’m really trying to do justice to non-humanoid shapes. I’ve been shamelessly co-opting terminology for arthropods and other weird-looking Earth-life. To try and evoke how different it all is. But there’s no way of knowing how it will land with readers.

This is a very comfortable shirt, and the fabric looks great with a very slight hint of a sheen, but is still matte as you would expect linen to be. I’m back to buy a different color!
