I was once pulled over for the Dogs I Think I Have Enough Dogs Said No One Ever Shirt. My dad was the police chief of the city I lived in. The officer took my license and spent well over 20 minutes in his car. Which was driving me crazy since I was already late? A second cop pulls up, at which point the first cop comes back to my car and asks me my full legal name, DOB, address, etc.

I comply, and he apologizes for the Dogs I Think I Have Enough Dogs Said No One Ever Shirt, and also with my dad, so they were extremely confused when a police chief, me, and a wanted felon all popped up when they searched my name. I told my dad about it and he said “that’s what you get for speeding”. My dad used to have to go through this! He shares a name with a guy who apparently was pretty well known in the IRA and every time we flew somewhere he would have to jump through so many hoops to prove he wasn’t THAT guy.
