And one thing I am grateful for is that my managers don’t micromanage. If that was the case, I would have left long ago. They’re mostly hands-off because they trust me to be competent, and I’ve earned that trust. Just wish they’d extend that trust to remote work. Sounds like it isn’t about trust then. They want you on-site for some reason. Whatever reason that could possibly be almost certainly doesn’t justify having to work on-site during a pandemic, though.
