This is a perfect under-layer for any boy or girl. It fits well for the average-sized 11-13 year old boys. It’s warm and made well. Kids love that it’s very comfortable to wear. I like UnderArmour clothes since they withstand being washed over and over and over again. They also keep their sizing. In other words, they don’t shrink. That being said, I hang UnderArmour shirts and shorts–so I don’t know what would happen with repeated drying.
I’m very, very happy with this product and will buy more.

The Under Armour Armour Long Sleeve youth shirt is what I’ve come to expect from the Coldgear line:
WELL-MADE, NICE FABRIC: The seams are well-sewn. The neck seam is taped. The fabric is smooth on the outside and a brushed finish on the inside.
FORM-FITTING: The cut is “fitted,” so close to the body, and can seem a little small. If you prefer a looser fit, check for a larger size or another line.
MID-WEIGHT: The weight is a mid-weight.
Just one small concern, I wish the branding was a little more interesting. The UA logo on the front and the back near the neck are fine. The type on the sleeve isn’t very clever. For example, the stylized logo on the
Coldgear Leggings
is much more interesting.

I’m a fan of Under Armor clothes as it’s just better quality and this one is superb. It’s that nice silky fabric on the outside, and softer fuzzier fabric on the inside. It’s slightly thicker shirt too to keep you warm. My 9 year old sons wears a medium (8-10), but these types of shirts are suppose to be more slime so the Large fits him nicely where it is loose and a couple inches longer than he needs, but it still looks good and glad I got the large. My son was so excited he wore this shirt for a couple days straight before we could wash it.

This is a way cozy long sleeve shirt. My granddaughter loves it and wears it all the time. For reference, she has been wearing youth L and XL. This was a small and since it is more fitted, it actually ended up being a relaxed fit on her which is perfect. She loves it. It is well made and keeps her toasty but also wicks sweat and moisture. Giftable.
