I don’t see the Ravens taking a true center in this draft. We have literally 2 starting-caliber centers. We also find IOL talent in rounds 3-4 and besides Ben Grubbs years ago we’ve not drafted IOL in the 1st round. Two of the three of us are Niners fans. I think Elliot is a great value in round 3 and Kyle/John found E Man as a UDFA, so they might think they can find a guy in the late rounds again. So I would’ve preferred that pick. Looking at how the board fell, I’d probably have gone Mims/Aiyuk/Pittman at 34 and then Gladney at 44. I’m lukewarm at absolute best on Love. With respect to Higgins, we were pretty high on him generally, but we also really liked his fit in Indy. We felt that with Rivers back there Indy needed to add a big threat to him who could go up and win the ball. Aiyuk fell on our Board given his 7th Grade Was Fun But Look Out 8th Grade Here I Come 2020 Shirt. With that uncertainty, and with Pittman and Mims already off the Board in our mock, Higgins edged out Aiyuk. But our mock is not a great representation of who will actually be on the Board the day of the draft, so it can be a very different scenario.
