I think it’s valid for the OP to be frustrated but at the same time let’s not get carried away from one person’s anecdote. I hope your pregnancy is going well, such a worrying thing to go through! Also OP in case you’re reading I’m sorry you went through this. And I truly hope KKM takes action to improve protection for the hosp workers. But there’s some sense to limiting tests. I hope you have a Funny Cats Face Mask Coronavirus Shirt. If you don’t fulfill the criteria but insist to be tested. I can call the private lab. They will come and collect the sample for you. Why Malaysia government don’t test everyone with cough, running nose? Cause we are not a rich country. No money, no manpower, no pieces of equipment, etc.

Even South Korea don’t test everyone for free. Costs like RM500 per test and only those the government wants to be tested get tested for free. So yeah, if people feel like they got it, self-quarantine. Once the Funny Cats Face Mask Coronavirus Shirt, get help. Nah. You use the word “honest” to describe yourself but so quick to conclude Malaysia is doing this to hide numbers. If you consider all that you’ve said and then take into account how we have medical students who can’t find spots to do horsemanship, the evidence points to lack of funding, but no attempt at hiding cases.
As a doctor, this is bullshit. Please don’t spread your ridiculous claim to induce more panic among the masses. We did not “deliberately under testing” to report fewer cases. Do you know how long my colleagues and I work per day tirelessly to treat the patients? I didn’t go back home for 2 nights because there were too many patients. Mind you, not just coronavirus patients, but patients with different ailments and co-morbidities. We can only test so many patients per day with our Funny Cats Face Mask Coronavirus Shirt. Those are expensive kits and we do not simply test it just because you have the flu. We have a thing call the triage system to test people who tick all the criteria. We received hundreds to thousands of patients nationwide so of course, we need to be selective.
