Friend clearly knows that those dogs aren’t actually purebred. Also, given the amount of money that certain types of dogs go for these days, there’s a lot of issues with unscrupulous breeders. Turns out he is mostly American Staffordshire terrier (pit bull.) We found out by doing a DNA test. There is literally nothing we can do to stop his aggression towards animals except keep him separated. We don’t take him for walks, we use a treadmill and rides instead. Then we keep him in our privacy fenced-in backyard, and always monitor. We exit through the garage so there are 2 layers of doors. We have tried multiple trainers but there just isn’t anything we can do once his drive kicks in until he snaps out. We love our buddy, and he is so sweet with our family and I can honestly say I am so happy he is in our family.
