I am a full-time employee at an ursine home. I am a unit clerk on a long term unit. And I was hired in March. I have had a 1/2 sleeve of a pinup girl. It is an Official Betty Boop March Girl With Three Sides The Quiet Side The Fun Shirt. My issue is not covering it up, it’s why now? My administrators have all seen is along with residents and families. I have to cover up my nude pinup and he needs to cover up his naked Betty Boop. He has worked at the company for 6 years. My question is how do I approach the situation. I feel like it is discriminatory and that I should do something? Advice, please! I’m seriously miffed!

If you’re in the United States there is likely nothing you can do. It was your choice to get the tattoo now you have to live with the consequences. Or the Official Betty Boop March Girl With Three Sides The Quiet Side The Fun Shirt. Even in California, the state with the most extensive set of employee protections, I doubt you’ll find anything protecting tattoos. You have porn on your arms. This is untrue — there are protected classes. Having a tattoo is not one of them, however. Feel free to make reasonable offers! I recently moved and would like to let this stuff go.

Advice is: nowhere in there is this discrimination at all. asking you to cover up a nude woman tattoo? Where have you now had your employment opportunities held back? Nowhere. Been thankful you have a job and you aren’t one of the Official Betty Boop March Girl With Three Sides The Quiet Side The Fun Shirt. I guess my issue is timing. Yesterday it was not an issue, today’s problem. Nothing changed. People have “money over bitches” tattooed and other things that are also visible. Nowadays people are getting tattoos removed in order to get jobs. You could not have had worse timing.
