I have never considered it because the pay is terrible. I went on to law school because there was no money to be made there. The median salary is about 35k and most teachers make that or max 40k. And eventually, if you have been at it over decades around 70k. That is ridiculously awful when rent is 2k on average. America is pretty damn rich in natural resources. I don’t know who has more per capita, but it’s not like America is lacking. America is like 10th for most oil and first for most coal.
