Life was Awesome I’m Not An Elf I’m Just Short Funny Christmas Gift Ugly T-Shirt magical once I got out on my own. Rough at times but magical. I’m 33 now and have stayed independent thankfully. I moved to a place where I live within my means. I feel like rent and cost of living are SO high that people cant be independent like they wish. I am trying to think of how to buy a home… But it may be a yurt at this point. My buddy lives in Campbell with his wife. They rent a studio for $1850. They make nowhere near 200k. They do not have children, however. That’s some nice capitalism at work there. You’re silly if you think you need to be making $200k a year to live on your own even in the Bay Area.

It’s expensive Awesome I’m Not An Elf I’m Just Short Funny Christmas Gift Ugly T-Shirt but not that expensive, you can support a family on a salary of $100-140k in the Bay. I’d like to see the percentage that helps pay or do comparable chores. Cause I’m guessing it’s low. Another 24% are living with their significant other’s parents no they are my roommates. I still got the same bunk bed when I was a kid. But it has proven useful since I struggle to sleep in the same bed with some else. They always believe I am lying “why would a 21-year-old guy still sleep on the top bunk”. When there is gonna be a murderer he will go for the person in the bottom bunk and that will give me time to run, everything is planned.
