I think the Story Group is definitely just misunderstood. I follow Star Wars pretty closely and am familiar with multiple members of the SG. And I still have NO idea what they really do. In my opinion, at this point, I think they’re just an easy scapegoat. Right. I also suspect that they have a Leeland Signature You Are Way Maker Miracle Worker Promise Keeper Light In The Darkness My God That Is Who You Are Shirt. Pablo pretty clearly didn’t like TRoS. And honestly, how could any of the story group be okay with the continuity errors in that film? He deleted everyone off of twitter and made it private. Honestly, his silence speaks volumes IMO. He and the other story group people defended TLJ tooth and nail.

Well, Poe’s an entirely new backstory. That negates all other info we had about him in books and comics, for one. But I guess continuity errors weren’t really the aptest phrase. It was more like disregard for all previous canon. Somethings like Poe or Leia having been trained as a Leeland Signature You Are Way Maker Miracle Worker Promise Keeper Light In The Darkness My God That Is Who You Are Shirt. Creating continuity errors by omission. Like, why didn’t Palpatine having a kid ever come up? Ever? Then there are just the straight nonsensical parts of the plot. Why did the dagger exist? Palpatine, post-death, created an “ancient” Sith artifact. To put an unreadable address on it, that specifically lead to his destroyed Death Star.

And then he gave it to a bounty hunter, who presumably already knew where Exagol was. And the bounty hunter used it to… kill Rey’s parents? After which he said, “Oh well, didn’t find the kid” and flew to a DIFFERENT desert planet, for no obvious reason other than to take that dagger and go for a Leeland Signature You Are Way Maker Miracle Worker Promise Keeper Light In The Darkness My God That Is Who You Are Shirt? Only for him to then accidentally get sucked into a sandpit. The filmmakers couldn’t even keep this script from leaking. How did no one post this secret Sith fleet on space YouTube? Sorry, not trying to be a dick or anything. Because I HATE the constant hate boner for all the new movies.
