Black and White 2 are generally considered the best since Emerald and I’d probably agree. Platinum is fantastic too. X/Y I wasn’t a fan of. I liked the Pokémon added but didn’t like how much hand-holding they added to it. It also added Mega Pokemon. I wasn’t a Top I Know God Loves Me He Made Me Dutch Shirt. Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire is a remake of Ruby/Sapphire so you’ll probably enjoy that. It’s the same game just with more content and all the Pokémon added to it. You can also catch the majority of Legendary Pokemon in it. No battle frontier though which is a shame. Moon/Sun are, in my opinion, the worst Pokemon games of all time. I’ve never finished them and never will. Sword/Shield divides opinion.

People either adore it, as I do. Or can’t stand it. I think everyone agrees it’s a step forward but it’s not what it could have been when compared to the likes of Mario Odyssey and Breath of the Wild. But it’s the one I’ve enjoyed the most since Black and White. Don’t get me wrong, I like the games. Certainly some of the better games in the series. But I just think the Top I Know God Loves Me He Made Me Dutch Shirt. If I recall there were plenty of development problems during the originals and the games were super rushed. Kanto was tacked at the end last minute. I never played the originals so I don’t know how much or probably how little changed from the originals to remakes but for me.

I think I read somewhere that they weren’t planning to make any more games after Gold/Silver hence why the Johto Pokemon took more of a back seat. I do agree that they missed a Top I Know God Loves Me He Made Me Dutch Shirt. Such as level curves as you say but also the Pokemon the Gym Leaders have. But could you elaborate on why you adore SW/SH as a pokemon vet? Not trying to bash you or anything, just curious, because I also played every Pokemon game since Red and Blue and I felt robbed after playing Sword. It only has 10 short routes, towns have nothing in them, cave area is just two long hallways, almost no endgame except running around the boring wild area, reused 3ds models, no gas, etc etc.
