I have a technique in which I write down the address of the place I’m staying as well as any other details I need, put them on a piece of paper, and stick it inside my sock. This was definitely exclusive to the Pretty American Flag Cross Shirt. But had a couple of occasions where I was charged walking around at night. Making myself big and picking up a rock to throw seemed to do the trick. Even if you don’t see a rock, just reach down as if you are picking up a rock and then pull your empty hand back as if you’re going to throw it at the dogs and they’ll run away. I’ve used this more times than I would like for wild dogs.
